Returning Student Registration for Credit Classes
1. Review courses you’ve already taken and read printed information such as the
Catalog, Class Schedule and
program materials. These materials are available at both on- and off-campus locations, online or by calling the Admissions office, (630) 942-2482 or (630) 942-2380, to have them mailed to you.
2. Check online for your progress toward your degree or certificate. Visit the
Records office.
3. Take the
appropriate placement. No special preparation is necessary.
4. Consult with an
adviser for help in planning classes:
- Contact a faculty adviser who teaches in your area of interest, or
- Stop by Counseling and Advising, Student Resource Center (SRC), Room 2044, to see a general adviser, or
- Call Counseling and Advising Services at (630) 942-2259 for telephone assistance.
5. If you are undecided or are considering several possible fields, consult with a
counselor.
6. Register for your classes through
myACCESS.
Returning students will register according to the number of C.O.D. credit hours they have earned. Students can check
myACCESS for their earned credit hour totals to determine the day(s) they can begin to register.
7. Payment is due within seven (7) calendar days of registration. However, if registering within 14 days before the start of the semester, payment is due by the end of the next business day. You can pay for your classes at the same time you register through
myACCESS or sign up for a payment plan (
www.cod.edu/facts).
8. You can print off your schedule/statement at
myACCESS.
