Submit an
Application for Admission to the Admissions office with a $20 non-refundable admission/recording fee.
• You will receive an acceptance letter and instructions on how to create your
myACCESS account. This letter will include information on when you will be able to register for classes. For more information, call the Admissions office, (630) 942-2482. Applications are not necessary during Open Registration. New students, at that time, may call registration or come in person to register for classes.
• Obtain and read printed information such as the
Catalog, Class Schedule and
program materials. These materials are available at both on- and off-campus locations, through the Internet, or by calling the Admissions and Information office at (630) 942-2482 or (630) 942-2380 to have them mailed to you.
• Take the appropriate
placement tests. No special preparation is necessary.
• Attend an
FYI Session (for students 24 years and older) or
Campus Visit Days (for students 23 years or younger) to become familiar with the student support services and resources of the college.
• Payment is due within seven (7) calendar days of registration. However, if registering within 14 days before the start of the semester, payment is due by the end of the next business day. You can pay for your classes at the same time you register through
myACCESS or sign up for a payment plan (
www.cod.edu/facts).
New Student Advising Assistance
Special advising opportunities help new students plan their classes and answer their questions. Students can stop by SRC 2044, Counseling and Advising Services.
