Degree Completion/Graduation
Completion of degree and certificate requirements is determined by the Graduation Department of the Records office.
• Students, in conjunction with their advisers, should monitor their progress online at
myaccess.cod.edu. You can run your degree audit online at
myaccess.cod.edu.
Is your Academic Program correct? You can request a change by filing a program change request. Download the
Academic Program Change form.
• An official evaluation will be provided within six to eight weeks for students who petition for a degree or a certificate. All questions regarding the evaluation should be directed to the
Graduation Department, (630) 942-2260.
Commencement is held annually on the last day of spring term. All students who earn a degree or certificate in the academic year (fall term through summer term) may participate in the ceremony. In order to have your name listed in the Commencement program, your petition must be submitted to the Records office by March 15.
