Oct. 23, 2009 – The College of DuPage Career Services Center will host “Employing Interns is Good Business” on Wednesday, Nov. 18, and Tuesday, Dec. 1, at 3:15 p.m. in the Student Resource Center, Room 2052.
This free one-hour seminar will provide area businesses and organizations with information on developing or expanding an internship program at their workplace.
“Employing interns is good business for many reasons,” said Jean Spahr, COD manager, Cooperative Education and Internship Program. “College of DuPage interns bring knowledge and enthusiasm to their work assignments, and at the same time, they learn skills that will strengthen their future contributions to the local workforce. It really is a win-win situation.”
