Oct. 15, 2009 – The DuPage Community Jazz Ensemble will perform a fall concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, on the Mainstage of the McAninch Arts Center at College of DuPage, 425 Fawell Blvd. in Glen Ellyn.
The fall concert features Duke Ellington’s “Such Sweet Thunder” and “Royal Garden” and John Lewis’ “Afternoon in Paris” and “Django.”
The group also will perform Aaron Newman’s tribute to trumpet great Lee Morgan, “Just Like Lee.” Vocalist Sandi Haynes will also perform.
