Nov. 6, 2009 – The College of DuPage Chamber Choir and Chamber Singers will perform their season concert at 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 10, on the Mainstage of the McAninch Arts Center, 425 Fawell Blvd. in Glen Ellyn.
The 50-member choir will sing classical and contemporary sacred music; Gospel, spiritual and Hebrew holiday selections; and Eric Whitacre’s “Seal Lullaby. The group performs with accompanist Barbara Ekholm.
The Chamber Singers will perform Renaissance madrigals and motets, music by Morten Lauridsen and Frank Ticheli, and familiar Christmas carols.
Both groups perform under the direction of Lee Kesselman, COD choral director since 1981. Tickets are $4.
