Attention:
All Fall Semester 2009 scholarships have been awarded. Award notifications were e-mailed to students with the e-mail listed on their scholarship application. Students can also view their scholarship awards on MyAccess. 

The recently approved State of Illinois budget provides for a Fall Semester 2009 only Monetary Award Program (MAP) Grant. Spring 2010 awards have yet to be determined. For more information, visit the Illinois Student Assistance Commission web site at www.collegezone.com  Please note: This does not impact any federal awards, i.e. Pell Grants.

Students may begin filling out the 2008-2009 Free Application for Federal Student Aid, FAFSA.

Deadline to apply for the Illinois Incentive for Access (IIA) Grant for the 2009-2010 academic school year.

ALL completed financial aid paperwork must be submitted to our office to be considered for the Student-to-Student Grant and/or Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant for 2009-2010. Paperwork received after this date will continue to be processed until funds are exhausted.

Bookstore dates. Eligible students may charge books and supplies against their Federal Pell Grant and/or scholarships only for the Fall Semester 2009, provided they have received their 2009-2010 Notification of Awards and have Pell Grant and/or scholarship money remaining to purchase books.

The earliest loan refunds will be mailed to renewal Stafford Loan borrowers. Students may pick up their checks at the Cashiers Office between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. (Date may be subject to change) IMPORTANT NOTE: Your enrollment status is determined based upon the start date of each of your classes. You must have started at least six semester hours before your loan funds will be disbursed.

SOP Appeal Deadline. Students who wish to appeal their financial aid discontinuance for the Fall Semester 2009 must submit all completed paperwork to our office for the Financial Aid Committee to review. Students will receive a letter regarding the decision of the committee about two to four weeks after the deadline. The committee's decision is final.
