Student Life and Support Services

Enter the Honors Program
Outstanding high school students increasingly are pursuing the first two years of their college education in the Honors Program and and then transfering to highly selective four-year colleges and universities, including Duke, University of California at Berkeley, University of Chicago, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Cornell, Penn State and University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign.

Honors courses are enriched, not accelerated, in the same sense that high school advanced placement courses are. This allows students to experience course material in greater depth. Honors Scholars are eligible for an in-district tuition waiver for Honors courses.
