Courses are designed to help your child develop the potential for academic achievement and the love of learning. Continuing Education continually assesses its youth program to update curriculum and add new offerings of interest to you and your children.

Homeschool Enrichment
Homeschool enrichment classes help supplement home curriculum. Most courses meet once per week during the fall and spring semesters, with the exception of junior high and high school math classes, which meet twice-weekly on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Grades K to 8 Enrichment Programs
Our enrichment and review classes provide opportunities for students to increase their knowledge and improve their academic skills throughout the year. We offer a wide variety of programming options from academic skill builders, languages, arts, sciences and technology to our popular summer day camps! Classes are held both on the main campus in Glen Ellyn and at many off-campus locations.
Girl Scouts
Youth Education offers mini-courses to help area Girl Scouts fulfill badge requirements. Classes are open to any girls who pay an annual $10 fee to DuPage County Council of Girl Scouts. Call the Scouts at (630) 544-5900 for more information.
Test Prep
Students can improve their edge on the PSAT, ACT and/or SAT by enrolling in a test preparation class. These classes prepare offering testing tips and strategies to help improve test scores and chances for scholarships or early admission.
Review and Tutoring
Students in grades kindergarten through 12 receive private tutoring from expert instructors in all subjects. Tutoring meets for three one-hour sessions. Three to four students can receive group tutoring in the same subject area. Meet with an expert tutor for eight one-hour sessions.
High School Enrichment
High School Credit Courses
College of DuPage offers a two-semester High School Summer School program. These classes are open to students who are entering or currently enrolled in high school.
Talent Search
Talent Search courses provide academic enrichment and acceleration critical to the development of gifted students. Students enrolled in grades 3 to 12 can participate in one of the leading programs of its kind in the country, featuring expanded opportunities in math, science, information technology, problem solving, literature, language and writing. Students must show 95th percentile or higher on standardized testing to participate.
